Aarti Mittal an actor and casting director was arrested on charges of operating a prostitution ring in the film business

On Monday, the Crime Branch Unit 11 uncovered a sex trafficking operation operating within the film industry. According to the Mumbai Crime Branch, it has been reported that the prostitution enterprise is purportedly being managed by Aarti Mittal, who works as a casting director.

Two individuals who work as models were rescued from a location in Goregaon and subsequently transferred to a rehabilitation center. According to the models, Aarti had allegedly made a commitment to compensate them with a sum of Rs 15,000 individually, as reported to the authorities.

The authorities deployed undercover individuals posing as customers at the hotel, ultimately leading to the exposure and subsequent apprehension of Mittal for his involvement in the illicit operation. According to official sources, Police Inspector Manoj Sutar was informed about this illicit operation.

The individual in question assembled a group and assumed the guise of a client, subsequently contacting Mittal and requesting the provision of two female individuals for his associates.

Mittal requested a sum of Rs 60,000 in order to facilitate the arrangement. According to the police, Aarti allegedly targeted individuals during various projects by offering them financial incentives to engage in prostitution.

In addition to her role as a casting director, Aarti also engages in acting. She has also gained experience in the television industry by working on shows such as ‘Apnapan’. The television program features Rajshree Thakur as the lead performer. Previously, Aarti had shared on a social media platform that she was engaged in filming a movie alongside R Madhavan.
